About the Event


Tim Hodgkiss is an intellectual property lawyer and partner, who has protected the patent, trademark, and copyright interests of clients around the world for the last 16 years.  In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business, Tim understands the complexities that fuse technology, creativity, law, and business together.  He is perceptive and creatively minded, anticipating the needs of inventors, creatives, entrepreneurs, and start-ups with speed and precision.  Tim’s clients appreciate his enthusiastic approach and commitment to excellence, which has resulted in his counseling of some of the most well-known celebrities in the world.


Christina Calloway is an attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Headquartered in Alexandria, VA, the USPTO is the federal agency responsible for granting U.S. patents and registering trademarks.

Ms. Calloway is a proud Georgia Southern University graduate recently recognized in the “40 under 40” Alumni Class of 2020. She is a Board member of the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association as well as an active member of the American Bar Association’s Women in IP Law Action Group committee. She is a 2019 graduate of Alexandria’s City Academy which receives recognition from the City Council. She has spoken and volunteered with such organizations as the historic Alfred Street Baptist Church and Northern Virginia Urban League Young Professionals Network (YPN) in educating small business owners and creatives about their intellectual property. Ms. Calloway is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is a 2019 graduate of its prestigious Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy. She has most recently served as Vice President of the Howard University School of Law Alumni Association for the D.C. Metro area. She is the digital content creator of focusing on local lifestyle and style inspiration. Throughout her education and career, Ms. Calloway has sought to

merge her personal passion for the arts and professional pursuits in public service. 

A proud U.S. Army brat, Ms. Calloway obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Howard University School of Law (Washington, D.C.); and Masters in Public Administration and B.A. in English from Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, Ga).
