About the Event

Join us in an empowering conversation with two women as we reframe negative self-talk around body image that enables us to create more sustainable and intentional health goals in the future.

To learn more about the women who will be leading us in this discussion, please refer to their bios below:

Monica Brewster, M.A.c, PMP, is a Life Coach School Certified Coach, Personal Stylist, and Strategy Consultant. With a focus on leader self-image, she blends life coaching and strategy with neuroscience and enclothed cognition to offer a unique approach that utilizes development of a future self-identity to powerfully step into.

Bringing 21+ years of experience, Monica works primarily with executive women leaders to transform the relationship they have with themselves such that they are fully empowered in every area of life and have alignment between their inner self-image and outward self-expression.

Monica’s mission is to help leaders be more conscious of the relationship between their thoughts and their experience of life. Thus, they can bring their full selves to the workplace leading to increased happiness and success. Her clients experience improvements in their confidence, creativity, motivation, and productivity in addition to greater work/life harmony and reduction of stress.

Monica has operated her own coaching practice since 2018 and has been an independent Business Consultant for four years after working at various consulting firms for over 17 years. She has provided coaching to leaders at various levels in organizations such as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Guidehouse, and Deloitte Consulting.

Alongside her coaching practice, Monica has been an Organizational Development & Strategy Consultant for over 21 years. As a consultant and certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she is respected as a motivational, influential leader and collaborator who leverages expertise with business transformation, change management, training, facilitation, and more to guarantee stellar results for her clients.

Lahaina Mondonedo is an operations and communications professional that found her calling in the fitness and wellness industry. She is currently the director of operations at ProMedia Productions, an events company based in Manila, Philippines known for producing some of the most notable beauty, fitness, and entertainment events in Southeast Asia. Aside from executing these mass-attended events, she has served as the national director for beauty pageants and is the official promoter in the Philippines for globally-acclaimed bodybuilding leagues—the IFBB Professional League and NPC Worldwide.

Lahaina is also the owner & founder of By Lahaina LLC, a wellness coaching company that does health coaching, talks, and workshops for companies and individuals. This is in addition to consultancy work for clients whose mission is also to innovate and improve the lives of others through their specific industry. Working in a world so strongly focused on aesthetics and physical appearances, Lahaina discovered her calling in driving the importance of holistic beauty and wellness. Outside the office, Lahaina is a marathoner, obstacle course athlete, celebrity fitness & nutritional coach, wellness columnist and speaker, and brand ambassador. She now uses these channels to further her mission.

Previously, Lahaina has worked as freelance producer for the Washington Post, as a senior communications editor at the Smithsonian National Zoo, and worked on projects for the Marine Corps Marathon, Habitat for Humanity, and Amazon as a marketing professional, just to name a few. Lahaina has a MS in Journalism from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where she covered stories at the White House, Capitol Hill and all over the DMV as a reporter. Currently, you can find Lahaina running, biking, and cafe hopping all around Washington, D.C.
