About the Event

Yoga and Life Force Energy

Yoga and Reiki can be used in conjunction with one another to experience ultimate transformation. Yoga can be likened to peeling away the layers of an onion. As each layer sheds, more and more unravels about the self. The process can be both empowering and a little scary.

It is between these sensitive layers where the application of energy work such as Reiki can have a life-changing response. Once one is completely open to receiving, Reiki will go to the area of the body, mind, or spirit, where it is most needed.

Yoga, too, has a strong focus on the flow of prana throughout the body, with the aim of unlocking and freeing up your life force energy by moving into and holding various poses. Each time you successfully hold a pose while breathing deeply, you’re effectively dissolving the blockages that prevent your prana flow.

Various poses can unlock your prana in various ways. Forward bends, for instance, can unblock prana to soothe, calm and ground you, while backbends prompt prana that provides a revitalizing boost.

Both Reiki and yoga help awaken and unblock your life force energy, so you can just imagine the results when you put the two together. Using Reiki on targeted areas while holding and breathing through yoga poses that target those same areas has the power to create a potent surge of prana that can veritably catapult your mind, body and spirit to a more enlightened and invigorating plane.

About Stacee Finkelstein

Stacee is the owner of Stamaste. Stamaste is a yogic lifestyle company that creates a warm, safe, serene space for anyone who wishes to start yoga, or deepen their yoga practice.

Stacee was inspired to explore yoga by her grandmother. Within a year of starting her personal yoga practice, she began to notice subtle shifts in the way that she carried herself, her posture, and overall confidence. Inspired by these internal transformations, she took her first 200-hour yoga teacher training program in 2015. She is currently an E-RYT 500 hour instructor, trained in hatha and vinyasa yoga.

As I continues to progress through her yoga journey, she connects deeply to the mental and emotional powers of this practice. Stacee weave her experiences with yoga throughout her teachings, inspiring others to connect with more than just the physical practice, connecting with the true depth of yoga.
